Finland stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 up 1.36%

Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the rose 1.36% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the were Nokia Oyj (HE:), which rose 4.96% or 0.19 points to trade at 3.98 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oyj (HE:) added 4.75% or 0.99 points to end at 21.84 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:) was up 3.92% or 0.76 points to 20.03 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kojamo (HE:), which fell 2.66% or 0.25 points to trade at 9.16 at the close. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:) declined 1.58% or 0.14 points to end at 8.48 and Fortum Oyj (HE:) was down 1.11% or 0.16 points to 14.28.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 93 to 75 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nokia Oyj (HE:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 4.96% or 0.19 to 3.98. Shares in Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:) rose to 5-year highs; up 3.92% or 0.76 to 20.03.
Brent oil for November delivery was up 1.16% or 0.90 to $78.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 1.61% or 1.20 to hit $75.72 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.71% or 18.05 to trade at $2,555.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.31% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.27% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 101.24.
