FBI arrests Neo-Nazis for plotting attack on Baltimore grid

Budrigannews.com – Officials said on Monday that the plot was racially motivated and that two people, including a neo-Nazi leader, were detained by the FBI before they could attack Baltimore’s power grid.
In a briefing on Monday, officials said that the suspects, Brandon Russell and Sarah Clendaniel, were taken into custody last week.
According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights organization that keeps track of hate groups in the United States, Russell is one of the founders of the neo-Nazi organization Atomwaffen Division, which aims to “usher in the collapse of civilization.”
In other states in the United States, such as North Carolina, South Carolina, and Washington, thousands of people were left without power as a result of the recent vandalism of electrical substations that led to the arrests.
