Family kidnapped in California
Budrigannews.com – On Tuesday, central California police were looking for four family members who had been kidnapped from a business in the city of Merced the day before under unknown circumstances.
Aroohi Dheri, an 8-month-old girl who was abducted along with her 27-year-old mother Jasleen Kaur and 36-year-old father Jasdeep Singh, was one of the bizarre crimes’ victims. Amandeep Singh, the baby’s uncle, who was 39 years old, was also taken against his will.
The Merced County Sheriff’s Department requested the public’s assistance in solving the case, but cautioned that civilians should not approach the suspects because they were regarded as armed and dangerous.
In a message recorded on video, Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke stated, “We have a low-life out there that kidnapped an 8-month-old baby, her mom, her dad, and her uncle.”
“At this time, we do not know the “why” of the kidnapping; The sheriff stated, “We have no reason for it.” We simply know that they have vanished.
Warnke stated that the unidentified kidnappers had attempted to “cover their tracks” and that authorities were utilizing aircraft to assist in their search.
Two men’s faces were obscured by medical-style masks in photos of the suspects released by the sheriff’s department, apparently derived from surveillance footage. They each had a plastic bag in their hands.
Merced is a working-class city in California with more than 80,000 residents and is known as the “Gateway to Yosemite.” It is located approximately 70 miles west of Yosemite National Park.
