Budrigannews.com – On Friday, according to TASS, former American intelligence officer Edward Snowden decided to believe Russia and received a passport of a Russian citizen after investigating the extent of secret US surveillance.
Edward Snowden ‘s lawyer Anatoly Kusheren said in the state news agency TASS: “Yes, I got my passport, I took the oath.” When the 39-year-old Snowden asked for comment on the report, he did not immediately respond.
In September, Snowden, who fled the United States because of the leak of a secret file that revealed the huge activities of the United States and its allies in the field of wiretapping, was granted Russian citizenship.
Snowden hails him as a modern-day dissident who revealed the extent of espionage in America. His opponents say he is a traitor who exposed secret techniques used by Western spies to monitor fighters and enemy states that threaten lives.
