Eurozone Inflation-New Record
Budrigannews – Annual inflation in the eurozone rose to a fresh record high in June, climbing to 8.6%,(real more than 25%) according to a preliminary estimate from the EU’s statistics office on Friday.
The increase, which is also up from the 8.1% May reading of the currency bloc’s key consumer price index, was driven in particular by a spike in prices of energy and food.
