HELSINKI (Reuters) – The investigation phase for a possible digital euro currency is expected to be concluded in October 2023, Finnish ECB policymaker Olli Rehn said on Tuesday.
After the investigation, the European Central Bank would decide whether to embark on actually building a digital euro, Rehn said in a speech published on Wednesday.
