Powerball jackpot draw in U. S. postponed

Budrigannews.com – After the drawing was once more postponed on Tuesday, gamblers who were hoping to win the record-breaking $1.9 billion Powerball jackpot will have to wait a little while longer.
Officials at the lottery say that because no one won the drawing on Saturday night, the jackpot increased to a whopping $1.9 billion.
A drawing scheduled for Monday was postponed after a participating lottery required additional time to complete security protocols. On Tuesday, the drawing was postponed again early due to a problem in another state. At this time, no new time has been set for the drawing.
California Lottery tweeted, quoting a Powerball statement, “Due to the length of the draw delay, it is likely that we will not know the official results of the Powerball drawing until Tuesday morning.”
In 2016, three ticketholders from California, Florida, and Tennessee shared a $1.59 billion jackpot, breaking the previous Powerball jackpot record.
