Dow Futures Lift as Earnings Boost Sentiment, Netflix Reports

Investing.com – U.S. stock futures were trading higher during Tuesday’s evening deals, after major benchmark averages lifted during the regular session as Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE:) and Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE:) boosted sentiment after surpassing earnings expectations.
By 7:05pm ET (11:05pm GMT) were up 0.5%, gained 0.8% and lifted 1.2%.
In extended deals, Netflix (NASDAQ:) added 14% as the company Q3 EPS of $3.10, beating estimates of $2.18, while revenue was reported at $7.93 billion versus $7.85 billion expected.
United Airlines Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:) gained 6.3% after Q3 EPS of $2.81, better than $2.24 expected. Revenue came in at $12.9 billion versus $12.72 billion expected.
Intuitive Surgical (NASDAQ:) lifted 11.6% after the company Q3 EPS of $1.19, beating estimates of $1.12, while revenue came in at $1.56 billion versus $1.51 billion expected.
Ahead in Wednesday’s session, market participants will be looking toward fresh data as well as results from major technology companies International Business Machines (NYSE:) and Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:).
During Tuesday’s regular session, the added 338 points or 1.1% to 30,523.8, the gained 42 points or 1.1% to 3,720 and the gained 96.6 points or 0.9% to 10,772.4.
On the bond markets, rates were at 4.007%.
