Walt Disney (NYSE:) and Warner Bros. Discovery (NASDAQ:) have joined forces to offer a new streaming bundle combining Disney+, Hulu, and Max.
The companies said in a press release on Thursday that the package, available now, aims to provide consumers with a vast library of content from some of the biggest names in entertainment.
For $29.99 per month, subscribers will be able to use the service ad-free. An ad-supported version of the bundle is also available for $16.99 per month. The companies said the new bundle will save customers up to 38% compared with the price of the services purchased separately.
The partnership represents a significant move in the increasingly competitive streaming landscape. By combining their vast content libraries, Disney and Warner Bros. hope to attract a wider audience and increase subscriber numbers.
With consumers continuing to move away from traditional cable packages in favor of internet-based services, media companies have been building their own streaming services, which has resulted in several different options.
To support the launch, a comprehensive marketing campaign has been initiated across various platforms, highlighting the combined power of the three streaming services.
The bundle includes upcoming highly anticipated shows like “Only Murders in the Building” on Hulu and the “Agatha: All Along” on Disney+, and “The Penguin” on Max.
The streaming giants claim that the bundle offers subscribers exceptional value, providing access to a diverse range of content at a competitive price.
