Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.17%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 5.26% or 22.90 points to trade at 457.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) added 2.77% or 10.40 points to end at 386.00 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 2.09% or 16.40 points to 799.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 1.22% or 3.00 points to trade at 242.10 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 1.17% or 5.30 points to end at 447.10 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 0.77% or 7.60 points to 974.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 65 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.78% or 2.77 to $96.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.44% or 2.51 to hit $100.26 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.45% or 25.55 to trade at $1,738.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.98% to 7.32, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.64% at 107.00.
