Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the declined 2.57% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the were Orsted A/S (CSE:), which rose 0.18% or 1.30 points to trade at 708.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:) fell 0.63% or 17.00 points to end at 2,682.00 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:) was down 0.67% or 6.20 points to 925.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:), which fell 7.31% or 15.00 points to trade at 190.30 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:) declined 6.19% or 63.90 points to end at 968.60 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) was down 5.31% or 820.00 points to 14,635.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 124 to 27 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:) fell to 5-year lows; falling 7.31% or 15.00 to 190.30. Shares in DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:) fell to 52-week lows; falling 6.19% or 63.90 to 968.60. Shares in AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 5.31% or 820.00 to 14,635.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.32% or 1.12 to $86.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.52% or 1.38 to hit $92.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 7.35 to trade at $1,684.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 7.42, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 109.34.
