Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 2.34%
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.34%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 2.42% or 6.00 points to trade at 253.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 0.82% or 3.90 points to end at 477.40 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 0.33% or 1.50 points to 454.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which fell 6.13% or 24.30 points to trade at 371.90 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 4.76% or 1,000.00 points to end at 20,030.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was down 4.55% or 940.00 points to 19,740.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 59 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.36% or 2.23 to $92.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.82% or 1.81 to hit $97.79 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 4.90 to trade at $1,812.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.68% to 7.26, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.62% at 105.65.
