Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the lost 2.14% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:), which rose 3.22% or 3.35 points to trade at 107.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) added 2.21% or 9.50 points to end at 438.50 and Tryg A/S (CSE:) was up 0.03% or 0.05 points to 168.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:), which fell 4.07% or 630.00 points to trade at 14,860.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) declined 4.01% or 645.00 points to end at 15,455.00 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:) was down 3.70% or 15.00 points to 390.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 69 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.07% or 630.00 to 14,860.00. Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) rose to 5-year highs; up 2.21% or 9.50 to 438.50. Shares in AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.01% or 645.00 to 15,455.00. Shares in Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:) fell to 5-year lows; falling 3.70% or 15.00 to 390.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.48% or 3.08 to $85.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 3.26% or 3.07 to hit $91.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.88% or 32.05 to trade at $1,677.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.12% to 7.44, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 109.39.
