Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.73%
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.73%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 2.75% or 6.70 points to trade at 250.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 2.05% or 15.00 points to end at 747.70 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.45% or 6.80 points to 475.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 3.63% or 3.95 points to trade at 104.80 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) declined 2.94% or 52.00 points to end at 1,717.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 2.87% or 24.00 points to 812.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 49 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.03% or 1.13 to $110.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.79% or 1.99 to hit $112.97 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 3.40 to trade at $1,821.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.47% to 7.06, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 104.20.
