Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.22%
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.22%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which rose 1.74% or 6.60 points to trade at 385.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 0.92% or 0.90 points to end at 98.80 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 0.64% or 1.50 points to 235.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which fell 3.14% or 14.60 points to trade at 450.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 3.02% or 580.00 points to end at 18,600.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 2.87% or 555.00 points to 18,805.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 56 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.25% or 2.94 to $93.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.87% or 2.77 to hit $99.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 15.65 to trade at $1,764.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.42% to 7.45, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.69% at 108.23.
