Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.11% – Budrigannews.com
Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.11%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which rose 1.06% or 5.00 points to trade at 474.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 0.97% or 0.96 points to end at 99.60 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was up 0.82% or 3.00 points to 370.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 6.37% or 18.20 points to trade at 267.70 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 5.61% or 14.30 points to end at 240.40 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was down 4.39% or 77.50 points to 1,686.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 97 to 54 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.00% or 1.89 to $96.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.82% or 1.79 to hit $100.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.65% or 11.20 to trade at $1,716.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.03% to 7.29, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 106.37.
