Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.75%
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.75%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG), which rose 4.61% or 16.60 points to trade at 376.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 3.69% or 9.80 points to end at 275.60 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 2.48% or 1.88 points to 77.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 1.60% or 13.80 points to trade at 846.20 at the close. Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 0.96% or 4.50 points to end at 466.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 0.96% or 8.20 points to 844.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 67 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.47% or 2.35 to $97.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.21% or 2.20 to hit $101.66 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.60 to trade at $1,717.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.11% to 7.35, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 107.04.
