Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.68%
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 4.72% or 7.40 points to trade at 164.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 3.02% or 3.25 points to end at 110.80 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.25% or 6.40 points to 517.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which fell 5.27% or 104.50 points to trade at 1,877.00 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 3.14% or 26.80 points to end at 826.60 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 2.82% or 8.30 points to 286.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 78 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.14% or 26.80 to 826.60.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.41% or 0.45 to $110.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.64% or 0.70 to hit $110.69 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 9.91 to trade at $1,852.01 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.14% to 6.96, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.01% at 102.14.
