Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.25%
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.25% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 7.20% or 5.12 points to trade at 76.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) added 5.19% or 14.80 points to end at 300.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 2.62% or 11.50 points to 450.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 1.16% or 9.30 points to trade at 794.70 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 0.97% or 3.60 points to end at 366.20 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 0.69% or 125.00 points to 18,045.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 71 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 5.59% or 5.42 to $91.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 5.10% or 5.25 to hit $97.68 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 11.55 to trade at $1,738.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.29% to 7.42, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 108.64.
