Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 3.13%
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 3.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 5.38% or 41.50 points to trade at 812.30 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) added 3.82% or 43.00 points to end at 1,170.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 3.48% or 680.00 points to 20,200.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 6.23% or 7.25 points to trade at 109.10 at the close. Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) declined 1.92% or 12.00 points to end at 614.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 1.38% or 13.40 points to 959.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 63 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.10% or 1.16 to $106.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.39% or 1.49 to hit $108.75 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 15.32 to trade at $1,906.62 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.40% to 7.06, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 103.22.
