Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.42%
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Real Estate and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 2.19% or 16.40 points to trade at 766.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 1.08% or 9.00 points to end at 843.00 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 0.43% or 4.00 points to 940.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 7.99% or 20.80 points to trade at 239.50 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 7.18% or 37.90 points to end at 489.70 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was down 4.94% or 92.50 points to 1,782.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 101 to 46 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.08% or 0.07 to $90.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.18% or 0.17 to hit $96.82 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 4.15 to trade at $1,809.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.24% to 7.28, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 106.12.
