Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.36%
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Real Estate, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 3.39% or 8.30 points to trade at 253.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 3.37% or 9.00 points to end at 276.10 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 2.83% or 25.80 points to 938.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which fell 2.05% or 10.00 points to trade at 477.00 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 1.82% or 14.90 points to end at 804.70 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 1.79% or 8.00 points to 438.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 112 to 41 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.54% or 1.58 to $104.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.03% or 2.12 to hit $106.77 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.24% or 4.15 to trade at $1,743.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.17% to 7.31, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 106.73.
