Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.23%
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which rose 5.01% or 95.00 points to trade at 1,990.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 2.21% or 460.00 points to end at 21,240.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 2.15% or 440.00 points to 20,940.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 6.45% or 5.90 points to trade at 85.60 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 0.93% or 7.60 points to end at 808.00 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 0.91% or 19.00 points to 2,065.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 66 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.24% or 1.43 to $116.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.04% or 1.21 to hit $117.50 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.19% or 22.05 to trade at $1,870.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.65% to 6.94, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 101.98.
