Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.10%
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Real Estate and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 3.38% or 78.00 points to trade at 2,387.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 2.10% or 440.00 points to end at 21,440.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 1.39% or 10.90 points to 795.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 7.88% or 20.20 points to trade at 236.30 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 7.15% or 43.40 points to end at 563.40 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 5.52% or 55.50 points to 950.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 100 to 62 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) fell to 3-years lows; down 7.88% or 20.20 to 236.30.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.84% or 0.91 to $108.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.16% or 1.28 to hit $111.42 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.73% or 13.67 to trade at $1,882.47 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.05% to 7.08, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.14% at 103.76.
