- This launchpad will host the first-ever Maradona D10S NFT collection.
- The NFT collection is supported by the heirs of Maradona.
DAO Maker, premier IDO and IGO launchpad for crypto projects, has announced the introduction of a new NFT launchpad with its first project being the Maradona D10S NFT collection.
Built on the Ethereum blockchain, the NFT Collection features 5,000 different art profile pictures of the late and prominent Diego Maradona. In addition, this NFT set celebrates the upcoming launch of FIFA 2022 through a football-integrated NFT. Furthermore, fans of the great legend can use the photos as avatars in the web3 environment.
Aside from featuring thousands of art photos, the collection is also the first-ever official Maradona-licensed NFT project. Backed by the soccer star’s heirs, Diego Maradona’s daughter Jana shares:
Maradona D10S NFTs is the first time all of the heirs have come together in a creative collaboration since Diego’s passing.
Meanwhile, Maradona’s NFT collection also happens to be the first NFT drop to happen through DAO Maker’s new non-fungible token launchpad. In detail, the launchpad can virtually support any blockchain. Additionally, any artist issuing their NFTs through this new service can gather exposure to the ever-increasing DAO Maker community.
That said, Christoph Zaknun, DAO Maker CEO, explains that the NFT space has rapidly become a ‘very toxic and fraudulent area of crypto.’ He further adds, “We are entering this market to try to clean it up the way we have with the low cap market by providing a venue for celebrities & founders that want to do NFT drops the right way.”
DAO Maker mainly facilitates IDO and IGO solutions and is poised to explore the same opportunities in the NFT space. With an excessive popularity and demand surge in 2021, the platform decided to hop on the NFT bandwagon.
