Cummins, Daimler form joint venture for battery cell production in US

(Reuters) – Accelera, a zero-emissions business unit of Cummins (NYSE:), and Daimler (OTC:) Trucks & Buses US Holding said on Wednesday they formed a joint venture to advance battery cell production in the United States.
The joint venture will manufacture battery cells for electric commercial vehicles and industrial applications.
