Budrigannews.com – The Wall Street Journal reported that the U. S. Energy Department’s findings indicated that a laboratory leak was the most likely source of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The WSJ reported on Sunday that a classified intelligence report that was given to the White House and important members of Congress said that the virus probably spread because of an accident at a Chinese laboratory.
The Energy Department had been unsure of the virus’s origin in the past. According to individuals who have read the classified report, the conclusion is the result of new intelligence, but the department made its decision with “low confidence,” as stated by the WSJ.
Other agencies’ assessments of whether the virus’s spread was likely the result of natural transmission or not were also discussed in the report.
