Cosmic Champs, the Algorand-based P2E game, has launched the first 3D real-time P2E governance token — $COSG. The team behind the game have stated that in addition to the token launch, which was facilitated via Yieldy’s launchpad platform yLaunch, holders of the token will also be able to stake their $COSG and earn rewards.
Cosmic Champs is an Algorand-based, 3D space-themed mobile game where players can compete against each other to earn coins. To this end, the project’s native token, $COSG or Cosmic Gold, acts as an in-game currency.
Matt Blanchard, Co-Founder and CEO of Cosmic Champs, says that they aimed for a token launch that was as fair as possible to the crypto community.
We made many choices to reduce the risk of price manipulation and keep the token price as stable as possible, and ensure a fair point of entry for retail investors over the first few days of launch.
Notably, the project has caught the interest of various institutional investors in the blockchain space. Its private sale in early 2022 raised $1.6M led by Borderless Capital and was oversubscribed.
