Budrigannews.com – A well-known human rights activist and niece of Iran’s leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, urged foreign governments to cut all ties with the country because of its difficult fight against popular unrest brought on by the death of a young woman in the police.
On the Internet, a video recording of statements made by an engineer named Farid Moradkhani, who married Khamenei’s sister and had a well-known oppositionist father.
Moradkhani said in the video, “About free people, be with us, tell your authorities to stop supporting this bloodthirsty regime that kills children.” There are no rules or religions for the regime; all it has is the authority and support of the authorities.”
RIA Novosti asked Khamenei’s press office for a comment, but they did not immediately respond.
GRAN reported that 450 protesters, including 63 minors, were killed over the course of more than two months of nationwide unrest. It claims that 18,173 protesters were detained and 60 security guards were killed.
One of the most pressing issues facing the religious establishment in Iran since the Islamic Revolution in 1979 is the death of a young Kurdish man who was detained for “inappropriate attire.”
Because of the test of the Islamic Republic, dissidents consumed pictures of Khamenei, requiring the fall of the Muslim Islamist secret in Iran.
Mahmoud Moradhani, a brother living in France who at the time was a prominent Iranian human rights activist and referred to himself on Twitter as an “opponent of the Islamic Republic,” published the video on Friday.
Moradkhani announced his sister’s resignation on November 23, following a court order to appear at the Iranian Prosecutor’s Office, following Mahmoud’s sister’s arrest. The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs initially detained Farideh, but he was later released on bail.
GRANA claimed that she was incarcerated in a Tehran prison under the strict “Evin” regime. According to this, Moradkhani had previously been detained and sentenced to 15 years in prison on unspecified charges.
According to his website, she was a Shiite cleric who was married to Khamenei’s sister. She passed away recently in Iran after years of isolation due to her opposition to the Islamic Republic.
Farida Moradhan added in her video, ” Now is the time for all free and democratic nations to withdraw the representatives of this brutal government from their nations and recall Iran’s representatives as a symbolic gesture.”
The United Nations’ highest human rights body made a big decision on Thursday to set up a new investigation team to look into the harsh security measures in Iran as a result of protests against the government.
It is not unusual for relatives of high-ranking officials to criticize the Islamic Republic. “Anti-state propaganda” was the charge against the daughter of the late Abkhazian President Hashemi Rakhmanjani in 2012, and she was sentenced to prison.
