China’s foreign exchange reserves have grown to 3 128 trillion
Budrigannews.com – On Saturday, official data showed that China’s foreign exchange reserves increased in December as the dollar fell against other major currencies.
The world’s largest foreign exchange reserves increased by $11 billion last month to $3.128 trillion, up from $3.154 trillion in November and $3.117 trillion in a Reuters poll of analysts.
In December, the yuan increased by 2.8 percent against the dollar, while the dollar decreased by 2.3 percent against a basket of other major currencies.
At the end of December, China held 64.64 million fine troy ounces of gold, down from November.
