China urges US to respect WTO decision
Budrigannews.com – Friday, China urged the United States to adhere to a decision by the World Trade Organization that found that the Trump administration’s tariffs on steel and aluminum imports were in violation of international trade rules.
In a statement sent by its diplomatic mission to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva, China stated, “China hopes the U.S. respect the panel’s ruling and the WTO rules, correct its wrongful conducts as soon as possible, and work with China and other WTO members to jointly uphold the multilateral trading system.” The case against the United States involves a number of parties, including Beijing.
