China-Six-month Mission in Space Ends
Budrigannews.com – State-run CCTV television reported that on Sunday, three Chinese returned to Earth aboard the Shenchuan-14 cruise ship and completed six months of mission aboard China’s space liner. In the program, which is broadcast on the CCTV channel, three astronomers, Commander Chen-Dong, as well as team mates Liu-Yang and Tsei-Xiuzhe, who were responsible for completing the crucial stage of the construction of space stations, which were completed at the end of November, said that they felt well after landing.
According to CCTV, the space surveillance agency staff announced that the mission, which launched on July 5, was a “complete success” after landing at the Dongfeng test site in the northern Autonomous Region of Inner Mongolia in China, at 8:09 a.m.
In the video surveillance system, it was established that shortly after nine o’clock in the evening, all three crews managed to leave the capsule, after one by one they were taken out for landing. On Wednesday, a new team of three Chinese astronauts rose aboard the Chinese liner Shenjiang-15 to replace them.
China’s 3-decade manned space program, which was first approved in 1992, represents an important milestone. It also indicates that the Chinese have begun a permanent stay in space permanently. The first and largest of the three units of the station, Tianhe, was launched in early April and served as a living room for visitors to the station.
