China is trying to establish stable relations with US

Campbell stated that secret discussions about maintaining peace and stability over Taiwan, the democratically governed island that China claims as its territory, had increased in the Indo-Pacific region as a result of Russia’s war in Ukraine.
“There would be terrible consequences, both strategically and commercially, if there were a challenge, and nobody wants that. Therefore, I believe that every nation comprehends the delicateness here,” he stated.
