China and Austria to discuss trade relations next week

Budrigannews.com – The Australian broadcaster ABC reported on Tuesday that the trade ministers of China and Australia will hold a virtual meeting next week.
The two countries’ trade ministers have not met in three years.
In a meeting with his Chinese counterpart on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, Australia’s Assistant Minister for Trade Tim Ayres called for the removal of China’s “trade impediments” on Australian exports, according to his office earlier this month.
According to the Chinese news agency Xinhua, the Australian and Chinese officials who met in Davos agreed to hold virtual discussions between their trade ministers “in the near future.”
