CEO of Binance denied rumors about his murder

Budrigannews.com – In a recent tweet, Binance CEO Changpeng “CZ” Zhao denied a rumor that was “spread widely” across a Chinese messaging platform that claimed he had been “shot” by the U.S. federal law enforcement agency.
CZ addressed the erroneous speculations that were circulating on the Chinese messaging platform WeChat in a tweet on March 4, claiming that he had been “shot” by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He also took the opportunity to reiterate the close working relationship that exists between Binance and the FBI.

At the end of the tweet, he wrote the number “4”, referring to his tweet from January 3 about simplifying his goals for 2023.
As a reminder to ignore FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt), fake news, attacks, and other distractions, he listed the fourth goal.
Focusing on education, compliance, and product and service were the first three goals.
CZ retweeted a user’s tweet shortly after asking Brother Peng, “Brother Peng, I heard that you were biu-biued by the FBI? You just nod your head and give a hint [translated] if it’s true.

On a screenshot, the user had circled the phrase “Zhao Changpeng was shot dead by the FBI [translated]”
A Metamask security analyst named Harry Denley compared the occurrence to a false 2017 rumor that Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin was “dying in a car crash.”
Denley suggested that CZ performs a “proof of life” with the most recent Binance Smart Chain (BSC) block hash, describing the CZ rumor as the “2023 adaptation of attempted market manipulation.”
In October 2022, it was previously announced that Binance. In order to combat illegal activity on the platform, the US appointed BJ Kang, a former special agent with the FBI, to lead its investigation unit.
After being photographed arresting Bernie Madoff, who was found guilty of running the largest Ponzi scheme to date, Kang was dubbed “the most feared man on Wall Street” by Reuters.
In more recent news, Binance and CZ. On March 1, three senators from the United States—Elizabeth Warren, Chris Van Hollen, and Roger Marshall—sent a letter to US CEO Brian Shroder requesting additional information regarding the financials of Binance.
The senators asserted that the exchange is a “hotbed of illegal financial activity” due to the “little information” regarding its financials that is available.
