(Reuters) – Canadian labor union Unifor said on Wednesday it has reached a tentative agreement with General Motors (NYSE:) for workers at automakers’ plant in Ingersoll, Ontario.

Both parties had extended a deadline late on Tuesday for reaching a deal, and the Unifor Local 88 had previously said that 97% of its more-than-1,300 members were in favour of stopping work at the CAMI plant if a deal was not reached.
