Brazil’s budget surplus was about 6 billion in October
Budrigannews.com – Treasury data showed on Tuesday that Brazil’s central government had a primary budget surplus of 30.8 billion reais ($5.8 billion) in October. This was higher than the 25.7 billion reais surplus that economists polled by Reuters had anticipated.
The central government posted a primary surplus of 85.7 billion reais in the year to October, or 1.02 percent of GDP.
