Bitcoin was trading at $21,069.4 by 08:28 (12:28 GMT) on the Investing.com Index on Friday, up 10.08% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage gain since February 28.

The move upwards pushed Bitcoin’s market cap up to $402.2B, or 38.81% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Bitcoin’s market cap was $1,275.5B.

Bitcoin had traded in a range of $19,294.1 to $21,163.2 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Bitcoin has seen a rise in value, as it gained 4.67%. The volume of Bitcoin traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $43.8B or 48.25% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $18,548.3770 to $21,163.2051 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Bitcoin is still down 69.46% from its all-time high of $68,990.63 set on November 10, 2021.

Elsewhere in cryptocurrency trading

Ethereum was last at $1,711.62 on the Investing.com Index, up 5.77% on the day.

Tether was trading at $1.0003 on the Investing.com Index, a gain of 0.03%.

Ethereum’s market cap was last at $208.5B or 20.12% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while Tether’s market cap totaled $67.6B or 6.52% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
