Biden says he spoke with Florida governor about Hurricane Ian

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden said on Wednesday he had spoken with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis the prior day about Hurricane Ian, which he described as incredibly dangerous.
Biden said the federal government had met every request for help from Florida that it has received and urged the state’s residents to obey all warnings related to the storm.
