Biden criticizes Republicans in his speech

Budrigannews.com – During a speech he will give on Thursday at a steamfitters union hall, President Joe Biden will say that some of the Republican proposals in the U.S. House of Representatives are harmful to the economy.
The union hall in Springfield, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, will be visited by Biden, who is thought to be preparing for a run for president in 2024.
In the midterm elections in November of last year, Republicans won control of the House by a narrow margin. In the weeks since they took power, Biden has attempted to portray them as out of touch with the concerns of Americans.
Biden will try to tie House Republicans to former President Donald Trump, a Republican whom Biden ousted in the 2020 election, according to a White House official. Biden will say that they are dependent on Trump, who said things like “Make America Great Again.”
“The most significant threat to our economic progress will be outlined by the president: The official stated, “House Republicans’ MAGA economic plan.”
Biden has already indicated that if Republican proposals for a national sales tax, corporate tax cuts, and strategic petroleum reserves make it to his desk, he will veto them. The Senate is ruled by Democrats led by Biden.
Biden will use it to promote his record on the U.S. economy, including the creation of more manufacturing jobs and a low unemployment rate, in his first major economic speech of the year.
Inflation has engulfed the economy under Biden, but it may be decreasing now.
According to a White House official, Biden will say that his policies:
“are laying the foundation for strong and stable growth.”
