Bank srael appoints new Research Director bank
Budrigannews.com – Bank of Israel Lead representative Amir Yaron selected Adi Brender as the bank’s overseer of examination and as a democratic individual from the money related strategy panel viable January 1, the national bank said on Tuesday.
For the past ten years, Brender had been in charge of the bank’s research department’s macroeconomics and policy division. He replaces Michel Strawczynski who in July said he would step down toward the year’s end.

Adi has research experience and expertise in a variety of economic policy areas, both domestically and internationally. “These will be able to make a significant contribution to the (research department) and the bank in the monetary policy processes that the bank leads as well as in carrying out our role as economic adviser to the government,” Yaron stated.
Prior to the MPC’s January 2 decision on interest rates, Brender will assume his new position.
The national bank has raised its benchmark loan cost to 3.25% from 0.1% in April in a bid to battle expansion that has topped a 5% rate, with an assumption for the rate arriving at 3.75%-4.0% before long.
