Budrigannews.com – The Defense Authorization Act was signed by President Joe Biden on Friday, but he was concerned about a few of its provisions, including one that he said could make it harder for the administration to prosecute Guantanamo Bay detainees.

“I urge the Congress to eliminate these restrictions as soon as possible,” Biden said in a statement, referring to a clause that prohibits the use of funds to transfer particular detainees into the United States.
