Baden confident about successful outcome of case with secret documents

Budrigannews.com – On Thursday, President Joe Biden of the United States stated that he believes the issue will be resolved and that he has “no regrets” about how he handled the classified documents that were discovered at his residence and former office.
While touring storm damage in California, Biden told reporters, “I think you’re gonna find there’s nothing there.” I am not sorry. I’m acting in accordance with what the lawyers have instructed me to do. That is precisely what we are doing. There is no such thing.”
After classified documents were discovered at Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware, home and a Washington, D.C., office he used prior to becoming president, Attorney General Merrick Garland last week appointed a special counsel to investigate the situation.
Biden declared, “We’re completely cooperating and looking forward to getting this resolved quickly.”
After “a few documents were filed in the wrong place,” Biden stated that he has been following the instructions given to him by his lawyers. He stated that the National Archives received the documents as soon as they were discovered.
Since the initial announcement that the documents had been discovered on January 9, the White House has largely been on the defensive.
Last week, Biden’s legal team acknowledged that they had discovered classified documents in his Delaware home, including some in his garage, related to his time as vice president under President Obama.
A second batch of classified documents was previously discovered by aides at his residence and a Washington think tank he was associated with.
While touring the damage caused by storms that swept across a large portion of California, Biden expressed his displeasure at being asked about the controversy.
I’ll respond to your inquiry, but here’s the deal: The fact that we are discussing a serious issue and discussing what’s going on is frankly what irritates me. He continued, “And the American people don’t quite understand why you don’t ask me questions about that.”
