Authorities identify bodies killed in Monterey Park

Budrigannews.com – On Monday, the Los Angeles county coroner’s office began identifying the ten people who were murdered in a Monterey Park, California, dance parlor during the Lunar New Year massacre.
My Nhan, 65, and Lilan Li, 63, were identified by the coroner as two of the patrons who perished in the shooting at the Star Ballroom Dance Studio on Saturday.
The coroner’s office stated that the five women and five men who were killed were all in their 50s, 60s, and 70s, though it did not reveal the names of the other victims.
“We are starting the Lunar New Year broken,” the family of Nhan stated in a written statement that was shared on Twitter. They claimed that she had been going to the dance studio on weekends for a long time and enjoyed dancing.
Ming Wei Ma, who is thought to be in his 60s, was identified as another victim by friends and patrons of the ballroom. Friends told a CBS affiliate that he was one of the first to rush the shooter because he was frequently present at the dance studio.
Eric Chen, Ma’s friend, told local media, “He was just caring, an ‘others first, people first’ kind of person.”
The identities of the other victims were withheld until the next of kin were informed.
One of the women who passed away was in her 50s, according to the coroner’s office, and two other women, in addition to the ones who were identified, were in their 60s. Two of the dead men were in their 60s and three were in their 70s.
