Australian competition watchdog sues Uber over misleading ride fares

(Reuters) – Australian competition watchdog said on Tuesday it is suing U.S-based Uber Technologies (NYSE:UBER) Inc after the ride-hailing platform admitted of misleading consumers about ride fare estimates and cancellation fees.
