AT&T and SEC regulator settled the charges
Budrigannews.com – Monday, the Securities and Exchange Commission of the United States stated that AT&T (NYSE:) agreed to pay a penalty of $6.25 million to settle allegations of leaking confidential information to research analysts.
The SEC said in a statement that AT&T agreed to pay the penalty and that three company executives would each pay $25,000 for the March 2021 charges. However, the defendants did not admit or deny the allegations in the complaint.
