Artist to Release Over 7k NFTs to Promote Women Empowerment
- Lina Valentina will launch an NFT collection to promote women empowerment.
- The collection will also entice women to be involved in the NFT space.
- No More NFT co llection will also be exhibited in the metaverse.
Artist Lina Valentina is set to launch a collection of NFTs to promote women empowerment and condemn domestic violence.
The “No More” NFT collection consists of 7,777 unique digital assets, each representing a female face. According to Valentina, she aims to offer courage to silent victims of domestic abuse and inspire them to speak up through the NFT collection.
The NFT community lacks diversity, according to Valentina. She said that her collection will also entice women to be involved in the NFT space:
NFTs and art seem obvious, a new way for artists to express themselves and be heard. Many artists around me position themselves in the NFT sector. Unfortunately, there are still too few female artists in the field, only 5%. The “No More” series also aims to encourage women to invest in this booming sector.
Three hundred No More owners will receive an additional digital frame valued at $800. Valentina and her team will also donate 10% of the earnings to the Safe Horizon Association to help survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
The NFTs will also be featured in a digital gallery in the metaverse, along with Valentina’s and other artists’ work for a cause. In addition, an exclusive exhibition for fans at The CoolHeArt Gallery will also happen, where fans can meet with Valentina herself.
Valentina is a known artist based in both Los Angeles and New York. Her works have been featured in art galleries in Los Angeles and on magazine covers of INKspired and GoodweekendMag. She is also a vocal feminist, encouraging women through her work. In 2018, Valentina collaborated with Adidas (OTC:ADDYY) at the Shoe Palace Melrose Ave.
