Application for ban TikTok in US has been made public
Budrigannews.com – On Tuesday, bipartisan legislation to ban China’s popular social media app TikTok was announced by Republican Senator Marco Rubio. This move increased pressure on TikTok’s owner Bytedance Ltd. amid concerns in the United States that the app could be used to spy on or defame Americans.
According to a press release issued by Rubio’s office, the legislation would prohibit all transactions with any social media company based in or influenced by China or Russia.
