All about Reuters report on murder children in Nigeria
Budrigannews.com – During their agonizing 13-year war against Islamist extremists in the northeast of the country, the Nigerian military and allied security forces killed thousands of children, according to a Reuters investigation that was published on Monday.
Nigerian military pioneers have said the military never designated youngsters for killing.
“We will be raising all the issues… through our High Commissioner in Abuja,” the statement reads. “It is a matter of immense concern.”
“We are profoundly pained by the claims in this report. We are looking for more information, including from Nigeria’s government and stakeholders in this field.
“We are still looking over the report and will decide what to do next.

“Including speaking with Nigerian authorities, our Embassy in Abuja is seeking additional information.”
“Amnesty International is requesting that Nigerian authorities immediately investigate the Reuters report’s findings that the Nigerian military killed children of any age in the fight against Boko Haram.”
“The most recent Reuters investigation is a wake-up call for the Nigerian military to end impunity and ensure the prosecution of those (who) have (have) overseen the widespread torture of people, including children, in the northeast,”
