A.P. Moller Capital invests $750 million in Asian regions

Budrigannews.com – A.P. Moller Capital, the asset management division of the Danish transportation and logistics powerhouse A.P. Moller Group, announced on Monday that it intends to invest more than $750 million in the South and Southeast Asian high-growth markets.
In a statement, the investment firm said it had opened an office in Singapore and planned to invest in various infrastructure platforms in those markets.
Dhruv Narain, partner at A.P. Moller Capital and head of its Asia team, stated, “This is the next exciting step in the growth of A.P. Moller Capital and our investment business in Asia, where we see significant opportunity….”
A.P. Moller Capital has invested in 16 projects and manages more than $1.5 billion.
Narain, who joined the company in August, has 20 years of experience in the investment industry and has worked for Macquarie Group (OTC:), the Abu Dhabi Investment Council and the International Finance Corporation.
